Floracor is a complex of probiotics and prebiotics, which classifies it as a synbiotic. The prebiotics stimulate the growth and activity of probiotics. Floracor-GI from AST Enzymes uses spore germination technology, a revolutionary process that delivers the probiotic spores rather than the bacteria itself.

Probiotic spores are dormant life forms that protect the bacteria from acidity and extreme heat and cold. These spores attach themselves to the inside of the intestinal mucosa and begin to germinate to form the probiotic bacteria.

This spore germination technology is a very effective method of delivering probiotic bacteria in less than ideal conditions. These spores do not require packaging in glass or refrigeration. Floracor also has a preventive formula to eliminate Candida yeast.
