Sanchlor is a depurifier for sanitary use composed of sodium chlorite and distilled water.
Offered here in a kit with a bottle of 50% citric acid solution.
Composition
Sanchlor is a 28% (22.4% actual) sodium chlorite solution for sanitary use.
- Sodium Chlorite 22.4
- Distilled water
Container : 100 ml
Blue tinted glass bottle with dropper. Approximately 1900 drops.
Citric acid activator: 50%, distilled water
Container : 100 ml
Amber colored bottle, with dropper. About 1900 drops.
Use
Sanitary use, mixing with an acid accelerates the production of chlorine dioxide.
Legal precautions for use
Use this biocide with caution. Read product information and safety symbols carefully before use. This product is registered according to EU legislation. This sodium chlorite has a registration number N-56606.
Causes irritation. Hazardous to health if inhaled and in contact with skin. Keep out of reach of children. Keep in a locked place. In case of contact with acid, releases toxic fumes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical advice.
If possible remove contact lenses before use. When using the product, wear protective clothing, eye and face protection and protective gloves. May be corrosive if in contact with metal. In case of accident or if you feel unwell, it is necessary to ask for medical advice, if possible keep the product packaging and its description available.
Beware!
By mixing the sodium chlorite solution with an acid, a chemical reaction occurs that produces chlorine dioxide (ClO2), which is yellowish-brown in color. Chlorine dioxide is authorized in France for the purification of tap water. The maximum amount allowed in tap water is 0.4 mg/L. A dosage of 6 drops of this sodium chlorite solution will result in a quantity of 0.2 mg/L of treated water.
The product offered here has a shelf life of at least two years. The product should be protected from direct sunlight and stored at a room temperature of approximately 20°C.
In France, chlorine dioxide is authorized for the chemical purification of tap water and drinking water, as well as for keeping swimming pool water free of bacteria.
