Description

The role of magnesium in the body

This trace element is very active in the body and indispensable in the family pharmacy.

A magnesium deficiency has many negative and often serious consequences on the metabolism because :

- it is primarily involved in the transmission of nerve impulses and without it, the body cannot create energy in the form of adenosine triphosphate,

- it helps reduce fatigue by modulating the body's reactivity, for example by acting on serotonin,

- it is involved in the proper functioning of the nervous system,

- it is involved in the formation of bones and teeth, and contributes to fixing calcium on the bones

Chelated magnesium bisglycinate

In the chelated form, magnesium bisglycinate is much better absorbed by the body. It becomes bioavailable due to its low molecular weight, which makes it a highly assimilable carrier, and it has a very good digestive tolerance. In addition, the glycine in the bisglycinate associated with magnesium has calming and relaxing properties.

One of the important factors that determine the bioavailability of a magnesium supplement is its solubility. Organic salts are much more soluble than inorganic salts.

Plants solve the problem of mineral reactivity by creating mineral complexes, which is called chelation. When humans eat plants and animals, and use their various components for nutrition, most of the ingested minerals are in the form of natural chelates. This is the main reason why natural plant minerals in organic form are much more bioavailable than inorganic mineral salts.

Chelation is therefore a safe and natural way to transport mineral ions, such as magnesium, into living organisms. In fact, amino acid chelates mimic the natural transport of minerals from plant or animal sources, and are closer to the "natural form" of minerals than inorganic mineral salts.

Composition for 3 capsules

Chelated magnesium bisglycinate (10% elemental magnesium): 600 mg

Fructo-oligo-saccharides: 225 mg

Taurine: 225 mg

lithothamnion (source of calcium): 150 mg

Capsule: pullulan

Box of 180 capsules

Taurine is a cofactor that facilitates the entry of magnesium into the cells and maintains its intracellular level at a high level by preventing it from leaving the cells. It also has a soothing effect.

This magnesium bisglycinate is very pure and 100% chelated (i.e. totally bound to glycine). It does not contain any excipient. It is composed of magnesium and glycine, an amino acid. It is a fat-soluble form that is very well assimilated by the intestinal wall. It is therefore highly bioavailable and passes easily into the bloodstream. It does not cause any transit problems.

Advice for use

3 capsules per day with or without meals.

Precautions

Do not give to children under 6 years old.
For pregnant women: ask your therapist for advice.
Do not use in case of allergy to one of the components.
